Mitchell Castlenut Spanner

The Mitchell Castlenut Spanner is the long arm for the Mitchell nut. Its ring drops onto the four steel pins of the Mitchell Locking Tool, and the two become one lever — the way to a nut that sits too deep to reach with the tool on its own.

Sixteen holes around the ring mean the pins find a seat whatever angle the tool ended up in. The ring is open on one side, so it goes on from the side rather than down over the top. Machined from high-grade aluminium and hard-anodized in Germany by Grip Factory Munich.
