Jib Set for Modulus-X®
The Jib Set turns your Modulus-X® parts into a jib. It supplies the mechanics — remote bracket, parallelogram, centre part, counterweight rod and balance weight — while the arm and the column come from your own spans. Reach and build are your responsibility.
The Jib Set is held to the same standard as the rest of our range: high-grade aluminium with a Hard Coat surface finish, stainless steel for shafts and threads, and high-quality bearings rather than bushings or bargain hardware.
The set includes:
- Remote bracket — ends in a Mitchell mount and carries the parallelogram connector, which holds the head level through the whole arc.
- Parallelogram rope — Dyneema (steel-cable strength at a fraction of the weight), tensioned with a turnbuckle.
- Centre part — tilt brake to lock the arm, pan brake for the rotation, friction to set the feel of the move.
- Counterweight rod
- Balance weight — machined, with a safety lanyard and threads on the Modulus-X® grid.
The remote bracket is not fixed to one way of working. The head can be mounted overslung or underslung, and the bracket can also be assembled in Nose / Matrix Mode, using risers for GFM inserts and a Mitchell plate.
The centre part mounts on a Euro adapter, or on Mitchell with the Euro Adapter to Mitchell plate (AL-2384).
