GF-Iso Dampener Set incl. Transport Case
A gyro-stabilized head fights every bit of rotational stress the arm hands it. The GF-Iso Dampener isolates that stress at the Mitchell connection: high frequency vibration between mount and head is taken out, and pans start and stop without the snap that shows up in the frame.
It carries 85 kg, weighs 9.1 kg and mounts to a telescopic or fixed arm crane directly or on top of a GF-Mini or GF-Maxi Shock Absorber. Each unit is tuned by hand to the head above it and the environment it works in. Machined and assembled in Germany by Grip Factory Munich.

Where it sits
The Iso Dampener mounts by Mitchell connection — to a telescopic or fixed arm crane directly, or on top of a GF-Mini or GF-Maxi Shock Absorber. Each unit is tuned by hand to the head above it and the environment it is working in, so the same dampener behaves differently on a studio crane than on a chase car.
