GF-Maxi Shock Absorber Set incl. Transport Case
The GF-Maxi Shock Absorber takes over where the Mini runs out of travel: 30 cm of lift range and 100 kg of payload, built for tracking vehicles working ground that is not a road. It carries a gyro-stabilized head through quarry tracks, desert and anything else where the suspension of the car is already at its limit.
The unit runs overslung or underslung and swings through 180° in the horizontal; the mount takes 48 mm scaffold tube as well as 150 and 130 mm pole systems, so it goes onto most camera cars without a custom bracket. Machined and assembled in Germany by Grip Factory Munich.

Tracking vehicle connection
The mount takes 48 mm scaffold tube as well as 150 and 130 mm pole systems, and swings through 180° in the horizontal. That covers the rigs most camera cars already carry, so the Maxi goes on without a custom bracket.
Overslung and underslung
Like the Mini, the Maxi runs either way up — the difference is what it is carrying. With 100 kg of payload the orientation decides how much of the lift range is usable, so it is worth setting before the car moves.
