GF-Steel Track
High grade stainless steel track for dollies and cranes. Foldable or fixed, exchangeable end sections.
GF-Steel Track is an extruded stainless steel track system whose robust, closed profile makes it extremely stable under heavy loads — a fully rigged crane rolls on it as steadily as a dolly. It comes as foldable or fixed straight track with exchangeable end sections and high grade stainless steel end joints, and it is fully compatible with all GFM track systems.

Folds flat for transport
Straight sections come foldable or fixed. A foldable section swings its two rails together into one flat pack that stores and travels on the truck like a plank — and unfolds back into track with the sleepers already attached, nothing to assemble on set.

Exchangeable ends, precision joints
Every section ends in a machined stainless steel joint — male cones on one side, matching seats on the other — that pulls two sections into one continuous line. The end pieces bolt on: a dropped or worn end is a spare part, not a scrapped section.

Braced square, gauge held true
Steel sleepers carry the rails, and a turnbuckle tensions the cross bracing between them: the gauge stays true section after section, which is what keeps a heavy move quiet at the wheels. The turnbuckle is a standard part and sold as a spare below.

Eight curves close the circle
The 45° curve is one eighth of a standard circle in the 62 cm gauge — 480 cm inside, 600 cm outside diameter. Run all eight for a full circle around the subject, or mix single curves into a straight run for a sweeping move. Same extrusion, same joints.

Two gauges, adapters in between
Straight sections come in 62 cm and 100 cm gauge. Gauge adapters step a run down — 100 to 62 cm, or 62 cm to a 36 cm narrow gauge — and starter ramps lead the dolly from the floor onto the rails with the camera already built. All of it stays compatible with the other GFM track systems.
