The GF-8 Crane System set the standard for modular rideable and remote cranes. The sections are light enough to carry and quick to rig, and the assembled arm does not move in the shot. It runs as a one- or two-person platform or fully remote, and the Xten Kit upgrades a standard GF-8 to the GF-8 Xten at any point, for extra height and lift range without switching systems. It rides on the GF-Base Dolly, as a Western or Track Dolly, all finished with surface-hardened Hart-Coat®.

One arm logic, every build
The GF-8 is built out of one set of parts. Rigging goes together in a fixed order, the setup is fast, and the light sections do not cost the arm its stiffness in the shot. The same components climb from a short two-section arm to the full-length build, and back onto the dedicated transport trolley.

The Xten Kit: extra height, longer range
By adding the Xten Kit, a standard GF-8 upgrades to the GF-8 Xten at any point — significantly more height and lift range without switching to a different system. The kit is a handful of components, and it takes the remote build from 9.3 m to 10.6 m (34'6").
