The GF-PRIMO ULTRA offers five different steering points. The steering rods can be set to the Dolly Grip’s preferred working position. The HCU fits snuggly into the steering handle to enable comfortable and user-friendly operation. Interchangeable steering rods between both the GF-PRIMO ULTRA and GF-SECONDO DOLLY.

The new GF-PRIMO ULTRA includes a steering mode selector that enables effortless transitions between conventional STEER mode and CRAB steering mode, all without requiring wheel alignment. This cutting-edge steering geometry ensures impeccable curves and intuitive mode switching.

In conventional steering mode, the dolly's rear wheels are engaged, maintaining an optimal steering geometry that facilitates smooth cornering and maneuvering around subjects, even in tight angles.

In crab mode, the dolly moves diagonally with all wheels engaged in the same direction at the same angle, allowing for lateral tracking shots.

State-of-the-art, wireless operation via the ergonomic hand control unit (HCU) gives the operator perfect control of the column’s lift. The informative display is clear and easy to understand, showing the operational status. Speed and drive ramp adjustment as well as setting limits and the recording of movement sequences are easy to implement.

The Dolly column is rotatable and can be separated from the base dolly for easy transportation. ​Base plates with a Euro-adapter or a turnstile mount are available and can be fitted to the base dolly. In turn, risers, seat arms etc. can be mounted, resulting in a mobile mini-base dolly.
The column lifts from 72 cm / 28" to 142 cm / 56" in just 2.5 seconds.

The 24 Volt batteries are simply slotted into position, secured and you’re ready to go.

In addition to the main seat, the multifunctional turnstile mount accepts three adapters to provide more seating and camera positions (e.g. two persons, two cameras). By attaching GFM accessories such as the Combi-rig, high/low rigs, off-set brackets etc. directly onto the turnstile mount, changing the camera position in relationship to the camera operator is simple. Combined with the rotatable column, it enables effortless camera position adjustments, creating a flexible and comfortable working situation.

→ PNEUMATIC »BIG« WHEELS.
The all-terrain, quick release, pneumatic »BIG« wheels are a unique feature only available with GFM dollies. They attach to the studio wheels, without tools, and clamp on in seconds with a special claw, locking design. They provide extra ground clearance for transport and shooting on rough terrain (max. payload 130 kg / 286 lbs).

The multifunctional platform set is machined from solid, high grade aluminium with rows of threaded (12 mm & 3/8") and non-threaded holes (12, 25 & 28 mm). The perfect tool for mounting various adapters such as low shot plates, lighting stands, monitor holders, seat arm extensions, counter weight rods etc. Special adapters are available for attaching scaffold tubes directly to the platforms, providing even more rigging options. The unique locking system utilizes the base dolly’s carry handles, ensuring a fast and no-play connection.

GFM’s Low platform system provides variable heights and expands the standing room on the dolly base. The solid multifunctional platform set — machined from high grade aluminium — provides a variety of threaded (12 mm & 3/8”) and non-threaded (12, 25 & 28 mm) holes as well as elongated slots. Track or skateboard wheels can be attached for use on straight track. The main section of the platform may be used with the standard 4-piece platform set, providing an even larger standing area.
GF-PRIMO JIB.
Designed to carry 1 or 2 persons plus camera, the GF-PRIMO JIB is a stable, modular jib ideal for working on tight sets. Mounted on the GF-PRIMO ULTRA or GF-SECONDO Dolly, it provides a lift range of 154 cm / 5’ and with the rotatable bearing in both base dollies, 360° of smooth endless panning is possible, a feature enhanced by the GF-PRIMO ULTRA's wireless mode.
